About Us
2009-2019
For 10 years Stampede of Dreams "SOD" was a PATH-International Certified program that provided quality Equine Assisted Horseback Riding Lessons which benefitted children and adults with special needs. We served Huron County and surrounding areas. Stampede of Dreams is a past member but continues to support PATH- International - (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International).
January 2020-
At this time, Stampede of Dreams has had to pause indefinitely its therapeutic riding and horse activities portion of our program. This was a very difficult sorrowful decision we had to make but we are not going away. We have been able to create new and exciting way to work towards our mission for the community. Our new mission will use the funds we have been generously gifted in both past and present, to help other equine assisted programs and students, starting with our very own former students who may need assistance to continue lessons at a new equine assisted program they wish to attend.
Stampede of Dreams (SOD) new mission is to provide scholarships for children and adults with special needs who wish to participate in horseback riding lessons and activities in programs located in our surrounding areas.
Founded in 2009, SOD is a 501 (c) (3) organization and donations are tax deductible.
