Rider Scholarship Eligibility and Guidelines

The mission of Stampede of Dreams is to improve the bodies' minds and spirits of
children and adults with disabilities through equine assisted activities and
therapies.

Being the recipient of a rider scholarship is a privilege and Stampede of Dreams is
proud to be able to offer rider scholarships to those in need.

Eligibility

Rider Scholarships are available to clients who are accepted into the
program and demonstrate a need for financial assistance in order to receive
our services.
Due to the limited number of rider scholarships available, rider scholarships
will be revoked from clients who demonstrate a high rate of cancellations/no

Guidelines

Complete the application in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be
A committee consisting of members from SOD's Board of
Directors will review applications. You will be notified of the status of your
application prior to the start of the riding sessions.
Scholarships are awarded for one riding session at a time and may be
granted for subsequent riding sessions.
In general, all rider scholarship recipients will be scheduled in group lessons,
as appropriate.
A new application is required annually.
